In 2018 in partnership with a web developer we built a fully customized salesforce.com platform to host both our CRM marketing database as well as sales data and reporting, accessible on the cloud and up-to-date in real time.

On the marketing side, our best in industry CRM database manages activities for our suppliers and customers, both at the company and individual level. Each of our suppliers has a customized platform that houses company specific terms, conditions, programs, resources, contacts and sensitive documents.

For our customers, we capture the responsibilities of each contact using “tags” that reference suppliers, as well as activities, such as promotions, new products and price increases. Especially in larger customers, respomnsbilitues are diversified and it is critical to reach the correct decision maker. For new products and marketing efforts, we must reach buyers and merchandise managers, for price changes to the database department, and promotions to purchasing.

On the sales side, our custom reports provide visibility into sales in real time, as well as the functionality to analyze sales by customer, by supplier, monthly or annually and much more.
